A six-part organization-wide equity audit that fosters a work environment where everyone thrives. It helps identify systemic barriers, biases, and inequities within policies, practices, and workplace culture. By conducting such audits, organizations demonstrate commitment to inclusion, which enhances employee morale, engagement, and productivity.


Addressing disparities uncovered through audits allows the implementation of targeted interventions and strategies to promote equity and belonging for all employees. An equity audit helps do the following:

Leadership readiness survey

Senior leaders answer a set of questions to help us understand how prepared they are to receive and implement the information we share with them.

Staff Survey

Participants from all levels in the employment hierarchy complete an anonymous digital survey to share successful experiences and opportunities for change in the workplace. Questions target policy, procedures and workplace culture.

Listening sessions

Participants from all levels in the employment hierarchy assemble into peer groups of 4-5 people to create a series of focus groups. During 60 minute sessions, we focus on themes from the surveys to gain a deeper understanding of how people experience the workplace and make direct connections between personal beliefs and actions and the company culture.

Review materials

Our team of equity experts review a series of documents that may include but are not limited to the following: HR policies, employee handbook, disciplinary policies or practices, materials related to board recruitment and retention, position descriptions, and interview protocols.

Share Results

We share a report with senior leaders and conduct two live sessions to discuss your organization’s successes and areas of opportunity to implement an action plan. The report includes key performance indicators connected to DEIB goals.
